Thanks for your sharing. Actually I am thinking a better way to run penny bidding website: to have a fixed top price. When the current auction price reaches that fixed price, the bid ends immediately, and the bidder with the most bids in that auction wins. I think this will creates a little predictablity and fairness. What do you think?

BTW, I am also watching swoopo. I noticed there are a lot of people looking for designers to build a similar site like swoopo(on getafreelancer.com). But I haven't seen much real site come out. Can you figure out any reason?

Wow: Vista driver support is actually better than XP (that's a new one).
The Vista driver:
D00377-002-002V.exe Windows Vista Audio Driver version: Conexant 6.14.10.0575
http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/getFile.asp?id=21080&dscr=Windows%20Vista%20Audio%20Driver%20version:%20Conexant%206.14.10.0575&uid=195475018
is happily working on my now Vista laptop. Unfortuneatly, I don't have a cheaper option. It might be worth trying that driver on XP (Vista drivers tend to work on Server 2008).

Dave,
I too have had the same problem - I cannot find a driver for my sound card. I too have a Gateway MX 6445 laptop with Windows XP. Is there anything I can do to fix my sound card?

Wow, only 20 minutes after I posted it, portions of this post were used on a spam blog. The internet never ceases to amaze me (link omitted for obvious reasons).
