I'm a bit of a card carrying nerd.

Make playing cards

By printing on 4 by 6 inch photo paper and cutting it in half, you can do a pretty decent job of making playing cards with customized fronts (you need to find a printer that doesn't mark up the backs though).

I made series of batch scripts to automate making custom playing cards: Make Playing Cards.

Math assignments

I occasionally taught math at the grade school level, there are asome resources I made for that:

• Crossnumbers (automagically generated), here's 10 crossNumbers as a PDF

• There was an iterative sudoku solver so that the computer could do the most boring work
• An example of interactive SVG use in Firefox 1.5. You're welcome to download it but it doesn't work on anything except Firefox 1.5.
• A couple of hacks specific to University of Waterloo systems, like a script to print assignments from my home computer on the printers on campus (I hope that that task is trivial now, it wasn't).
